River City Men’s Chorus Male Vocal/Choral Scholarship 2012
Eligibility: This scholarship is eligible to any male student in his senior year of a public or private high school in Arkansas. The student must have a minimum cumulative high school GPA of 2.75, plan to major in music and take a minimum of twelve (12) hours or its equivalent full-time credit hour load in an accredited institution of higher education.
To apply: Please return the application to the address listed below with a YouTube link, DVD, CD, VHS or cassette tape recording of yourself performing two songs of contrasting style, two sealed letters of recommendation and a short, typed essay.
Deadline: The complete application must be postmarked no later than March 3, 2012.
Notification of selection of finalists will be made by March 10, 2012. Finalists must attend a live audition/interview on Saturday, March 31, 2011 at Trinity United Methodist Church, 1101 N Mississippi Street, Little Rock, AR 72207. The winner will be selected and all finalists notified of the outcome by April 14, 2012. The winner will receive a $1,000 scholarship, renewable up to an additional three years pending fulfillment of specified criteria.
The River City Men’s Chorus Male Vocal/Chorus Scholarship will be awarded annually to qualified senior high school males in Arkansas.
