A Note from our Artistic Director and Conductor...

Dear Friends,

Let's celebrate!  We are so excited that the '17-'18 season of the River City Men's Chorus will be our 15th anniversary, and we want you to be our guests as we commemorate this special time!  While last season's concerts were about growth and establishing roots in our new performance venue, the concerts of the 15th season will be about fun and surprises!

As we mark this milestone anniversary, we want each of you to know how important you are to our organization.   You have blessed us with your generosity --- your patron contributions, your support and encouragement, and most of all, your presence at performances.  The "icing on the cake" is the wonderful new friends we've made in the last year in our new home.

In the eyes of many long-time performing arts organizations, the RCMC is a mere youngster.  However, looking back over our fifteen years, we have a multitude of memories in our short existence.  In addition to our local concerts, we performed (in a downpour) at the opening of the Clinton Library; the Race for the Cure; two tours to Europe, with performances in St. Peter’s Basilica at the Vatican and other major cathedrals and performance halls.

And since the beginning we have been so fortunate to have one of the strongest, hard-working Boards of Directors found anywhere. These fine men and women serve tirelessly to ensure that all of the details are attended to so that your concert experiences are completely enjoyable.

Lastly, I offer my highest tribute and most heartfelt praise to the ones who make it all happen --- my chorus brothers --- the fine men of the chorus.  Their love and dedication to this very special organization is remarkable.  I hope you will help me recognize and appreciate the wonderful men of the River City Men’s Chorus with your attendance and support.  See you at the concerts!

Sincerely,

David A. Glaze
